Sauer condom catheters are known for their comfort, reliability and simple handling.
Latex Condom Catheters
Sauer Latex Catheters are made of natural materials, practically free from chemicals. They are suitable for nearly all skin types. Although irritations and allergies can occur with latex, true latex allergies are very rare. Most often it is impurities in some manufacturer’s latex catheters and adhesives that cause problems. Many of our customers are long-time users of SAUER latex catheters without any reactions to the skin.
Once you have tried Sauer catheters and you will never use any other:
- Especially thin film - Thinner latex film than most other catheters on the market. Only very thin film will adapt to the skin and improve adhesion.
- Increased elasticity - Not only thin, but highly elastic film allows the catheter to cope more easily with sudden surges of urine without leakage.
- Individually tested - Every condom is inflated with approx. 10 litres of air to test its tear resistance, check for small holes, thin areas and sticking.
- Talcum powdered - Prevents sticking together and also makes removal easier.
Total length approx. 215mm, condom and connecting tube are mounted with a nipple. To be used with all urine collection bags with or without adapter.

Latex-Free Condom Catheters
The material used in these condom catheters is unique, produced exclusively for Manfred Sauer. It has exceptional elasticity unlike silicone, which is used for most synthetic catheters, and which is comparatively rigid.
These come in two styles, 2-piece and self-adhesive:
2-Piece Latex-Free Condom Catheters
Use with skin adhesive or adhesive tape. Total length 200mm.
Self-adhesive Latex-Free Condom Catheters
Self-adhesive Catheters have an adhesive film inside the catheter which allows you to put it on quickly and more easily.

Sauer self-adhesive condoms have a unique feature, a buffer zone. This is an area between the adhesive zone and the connecting tube which expands. The rigid construction of many catheters prevents buffer zone formation and means that it cannot expand when you void large quantities of urine. This puts more pressure on the adhering area causing the catheter to become detached (blow-offs or blow-outs).

Sauer Catheters
11 sizes – The better the fit the safer the adhesive contact, we have eleven finely graded sizes (diameter 18 – 40 mm). We can provide a tape measure to help you get the right size.
100% individually tested – All urinary condoms are tested individually for impermeability and tear strength.
High elasticity – The extremely high elasticity of the material allows for large amounts of spontaneous urine and, at the same time, a residue free drainage. Therefore no pooling occurs around the tip of the penis, being more hygienic
and reducing the risk of infection.
Material strength – Made from very thin but strong materials which ensure a snug fit and reliable adhesion
Double-dipped tip – The condom tip is double-dipped to prevent tearing but is still elastic enough to enable a residue free drainage, so no fluid is able to collect. This is not the case when stiffer material is used.
Connecting tube – The condom and connecting tube are manufactured in one piece or are mounted with a nipple and are suitable for all urine bags with or without adapter.
