Manfred Sauer Continence Systems have been manufacturing reusable incontinence products for more than 30 years in Lobbach, near Heidelberg in Germany.
Sauer urine collection bags are manufactured on high-frequency welding machines. They are made of PVC which is still the only material which allows the production of bags of such high quality for the medical field.
Bendi Bags for Anyone in a Wheelchair
These bags have been designed especially for wheelchair users. They are very comfortable to wear, as well as flexible and secure, specially adapted for those in the sitting position.
Bendi Bags can be worn comfortably on the inside or outside of either leg. Inlet tubes can be adjusted to individual requirements. The bags are inconspicuous, securely fastened above the knee with an extra wide soft woven strap with silicone non-slip backing.

Sauer All-Purpose Leg bags
Sauer Leg Bag design makes them particularly suitable for able-bodied people, but also for wheelchair users and children. You can wear them on the left or on the right leg. As a special feature, the cotton backing further enhances the wearing comfort.
- Capacity - available in 600ml and 1 litre capacity. The smaller size is suitable for people who do not usually have problems finding accessible restrooms. They are squarer than the majority of similar capacity leg bags, making them particularly suitable for people of smaller build. Also, a smaller leg bag is not as conspicuous.
- Long inlet tube - this can be customized to fit all body sizes. This allows you to choose between wearing bag either on the thigh or on the lower leg. The enclosed loose adapter, smooth or stepped, is inserted into the (shortened) inlet tube of the bag. Allowing you to connect it securely to all current condoms and catheters.
- The backing - this is made of natural cotton fleece, which is velvety smooth for extra comfort against the skin.

Manfred Sauer Discreet Bag
The Discreet Bag is the smallest leg bag we can offer you. Its capacity of 210ml is sufficient for people with drip incontinence and it can also be used during sports or swimming as an interim solution. Because of its small capacity it can easily be worn on the thigh, e.g. under shorts or swimming trunks, or directly in the underpants.

Inlet connection – Option of a smooth or stepped universal adapter. We advise smooth adapters for connection to urinary condom catheters and stepped adapters for connection to urethral and suprapubic catheters.
Inlet tube – Very soft and flexible to avoid dragging on catheters, but will not kink. The length is
adaptable to suit all body sizes.
4-way welded inlet into bag – Allows for a smooth flow of urine, even with leg bags which do not lie flat.
Non-return valve – Prevents the return of urine (during physiotherapy sessions for example) thus preventing infections.
Textured PVC material – This is very strong and has a textured surface to avoid sweating or sticking to the skin.
Welding – The inlet into the bag, the reflux valve and the outlet tap are welded to the PVC. Double welding makes this the most secure bag on the market.
